Минутка бомбежа по поводу адаптации "Алиениста", которого я прочитала три плевка (шесть глав), но на сценаристов успела просто желчью изойти (за две серии).
Мало того, что герой Эванса знатно притупел, из журналиста стал неясно зачем художником и вообще, но меня его припадки, ахи и вздохи из первой серии раньше доводили просто как избыточность текста, а теперь еще и как плохая адаптация будут доводить.
Ясен-фигасен, что действие происходит уже после активности Джека Потрошителя.
Пусть и на другом континенте, но "омайгад как так, такое мог сделать человек?!?!?!?!!" для журналиста, работающего в злачных местах в эру после Риппера это как-то.. наивно. Так мы с вами думали всю первую серию. Это были цвяточечки.
Что я думала дальше, знает только Вельзевул, потому что к седьмой главе оказывается, что героя РЕАЛЬНО ОТПРАВЛЯЛИ В КОМАНДИРОВКУ в Британию, и он РЕАЛЬНО ПРИСЫЛАЛ КРАЙЦЛЕРУ ИНФУ О РАССЛЕДОВАНИИ дела Потрошителя.
Единственное, что радует в этом комбо - книжный Ласло Крайцлер явно предчувствует, что его дружбана Мура в сериале будет играть Люк Эванс:
"I glanced up to find Laszlo giving me a very puzzled look. “John, that is the most intelligent thing I’ve ever heard you say,” he finally announced."
Что, если честно, was not much of a challenge.
