🎁Benefits
The amount of the Latvian scholarship granted by the VIAA for summer school is 711 EUR per person for the duration of the summer school.
The scholarships will be transferred by the VIAA to the summer school organizers, no money will be handed out to the Latvian scholarship winners.
The participants of the summer schools have to cover travel expenses from the country of origin to the summer school location in Latvia themselves.

The OSCE Academy in Bishkek is seeking for policy brief proposals that analyze various facets of migration issues in Kyrgyzstan and the wider region of Central Asia. Priority is given to proposals which have a strong focus on migration governance or on migration’s impacts on agriculture and rural change in local communities.
Successful policy briefs will be published on the OSCE Academy’s website and will be considered for submission to the policy brief series of the cross-country research project AGRUMIG (‘Leaving something behind’ - Migration governance and agricultural & rural change in ‘home’ communities: comparative experience from Europe, Asia and Africa), funded by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union.

The Intensive Programme was developed as a shorter version of the Advanced Programme. It was designed for professionals coming from the European Neighbourhood Policy Countries, Central Asia and the Western Balkans.
Over a period of 6 weeks, it provides a comprehensive training on the legal, economic and political functioning of the European Union. In addition, the Programme includes a week-long study visit to Brussels and Luxembourg for in-person meetings in the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the Court of Justice of the EU and other EU institutions.
