Over the past 50 years Bill Bruford has been one of the most original and innovative drummers in a wide range of genres. The Making A Song And Dance: A Complete Career Collection box set compiles many of Bruford's great accomplishments during his incredible career. This six-CD compilation will see the light of day on April 29 on the BMG label.

"I was interested in the broader use of drums and drumming, not in success or fame," Bruford says. - I wanted to sound different than my contemporaries like Carl Palmer or John Bonham. I figured if I hadn't heard something before, my bandmates probably hadn't either. Coming up with interesting drum kit tricks was my raison d'être."

In addition to "Yes" and "Crimson," the edition contains works with legendary guitarists Al Di Meola, Steve Howe, Kazumi Watanabe and more. The box set also includes a detailed biography by Bruford himself, illustrated with rare photographs.

Группа Foo Fighters обнародовала полный список участников трибьют-концерта памяти своего барабанщика Тейлора Хокинса. Шоу состоится на лондонском стадионе «Уэмбли» 3 сентября 2022 года.

Там выступят бывший вокалист Oasis Лиам Галлахер, Гедди Ли и Алекс Лайфсон из Rush, Брайан Мэй и Роджер Тейлор из Queen, бывший барабанщик Police Стюарт Коупленд и Джош Хомм из Queens of the Stone Age, Марк Ронсон.

Musicians from Queen, Rush, Oasis and Police will take part in the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert.

Foo Fighters announced the full list of participants in the tribute concert to their drummer Taylor Hawkins. The show will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on September 3, 2022.

Former Oasis vocalist Liam Gallagher, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson of Rush, Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen, former Police drummer Stuart Copeland and Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, Mark Ronson will perform there.

With the approval of Hawkins' family, the band announced in early June that it would throw two all-star tribute shows in honor of its drummer, who died at age 50 on March 25 in a hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, during a Foo Fighters tour. Alanis Morissette, Miley Cyrus, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gene Simmons of Kiss, Nikki Six of Mötley Crüe and others have been announced as guests for the Sept. 27 concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Proceeds from the show will go to charities in the U.S
